5 Myths of
Working with A Marketing Mentor

Hello Coach,
I know! I know! Your
mentor is your savior. Your mentor(s) got you where you
are today. I'm not arguing with that. In fact, I know
that to be true. Mentors, coaches, teachers, trainers and
gurus have a huge amount of valuable information to share.
They teach the strategies that made them successful. Of
course, you want to know the secrets of their success so you can be
as successful.
That's great! So, once you've
finished working with a mentor, what do you do? I'm sure
you're aware that implementing what you've learned is the fast
track to being successful with it. Do you know there is
actually a strategy to implementing?
Most mentors
give you the mechanics and even help you figure out what may
work best for your business. They may support you in
getting things done by holding you accountable. They may
even give you feedback on your implementation.

 Chances are you have hired one or several mentors in
hopes that you would create the success you've always wanted.
If you've reached that success, then wonderful! However, if
you are like most coaches I know you've done everything you were
told to do (or a lot of it anyway) and you still haven't quite
reached that level of success you were hoping for. You may
have experienced a jump after working with a mentor and then hit a
plateau. So, then you hired another mentor, got a jump and
then hit another plateau. Sounding familiar? I call this
going in circles. It's like being on a merry-go-round. I
don't know about you, but I feel like the kid in this picture after
being on a merry-go-round.
Get off the merry-go-round and reach the level of success you've
always wanted.
You can do it with what you've
already learned. You can surpass every goal you've ever
set with the tools you already have.
You've invested in your mentor. Now, it's time to
earn that money back!
There are 5 myths about working with
a mentor. If you are on the merry-go-round, then you've
likely believed at least one of them. Even just one of these myths could
keep you from getting off the ride. They are blocking
you from getting what you want. They are holding
you back in your business. In fact, I believe these 5
myths are holding a good portion of the entire coaching industry
back.
