Our next interview will be with Therese Skelly.  Therese Skelly has been working for years in helping people overcome their barriers and create amazing things in life and business. She has a Master’s Degree in counseling and practiced for 25 years. In addition to her mindset and “inner game” expertise, Therese has been coached and mentored by the industries finest in the areas of marketing, sales, copywriting, and business strategy. In order to be able to hire the professional team you need to grow your business, you have to know what the next big steps are.  You need a mentor, coach, guide etc... Someone who can help you find the right path so you know what your team will be doing.

You wouldn't be as successful as you are without having made some wise choices and big mindset shifts.  You may have even had some help along the way.  Most likely you paid for what you determined was "affordable" and you took what you could get at that rate.  As you experienced success, you probably began to notice that you need to step up your game and get some help that's going to move you faster.  After all, if you're going to make a big investment, you want a big return.  You may have even researched a bunch of big wig programs that claim to help you take those big leaps you know need to happen.  The challenge is, finding the support you need without throwing a bunch of money down the drain.  This call will give you the tools to help you make those wise choices so you can make the necessary mindset shifts that help you make more money.

Upgrade your team, Upgrade your wallet.

When you started your business, you had very little money to invest in help.  So, most take the cheapest help they can get when it comes to hiring assistants for their business. In the beginning, this will give you a boost in productivity and allow you to accomplish things you wouldn’t have accomplished otherwise.  Once you hit the 6-figure mark, things change.  Now, you need a team who can take more responsibility and will be able to own their work.  It costs more to pay for a team like this, but it doesn’t have to shrink your wallet to make it happen.  Katrina reveals all on how to find the money to pay for your dream team.

 

 

Our third interview was with Mark Silver; Sufi spiritual nut and business tenderizer.  His roots in business go back four generations to his great-grandmother who ran a stocking factory in turn-of-the-century Poland. After several careers himself, including running a magazine, a painfully under-talented graphic design business, and running around on an ambulance as a paramedic, his spiritual journey connected with his business journey. Since 1999, Mark has worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and self-employed folks in the areas of money, marketing, strategy, and just plain doing well in business.

Trained at the Jaffe Institute (now known as the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism) in Organizational and Business Healing, Mark blends his skills as a Sufi healer and designated master teacher with heart-centered business practices. His vision is for your heart to deepen into knowing its own truth, and from that knowledge your business becomes profitable and sustainable.

Mark lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Holly, his twin sons Sam and David, two cats Rafi and Kira, and as much rain as you care to soak up.

You can share your gifts without living like a missionary.

If you are successful in your business, you've not had a problem asking for payment in exchange for your talents/gifts/services.  I know you are in this business to serve and you feel everyone should have access to the amazing service you provide.  I also know that this "missionary mindset" can get in the way of creating the business you want.  If you are experiencing the crunch of asking for big ticket prices or creating high-end services in order to get your business to the next level, you may start to feel like you're selling your soul to do it.  Well, you don't have to!  There are ways to build a sustainable business that creates the income you desire.  That's what this call is about!

You can expand while working less.

I see group coaching as a great way to expand your business without having to spend as much time with clients.  It can also be away to reach a market that cannot afford your high end, one-on-one services (they are high end, aren't they?!).  I picked Wendy's brain about how you can improve your profits with group coaching.


The first interview was with Tom Buford, founder of http://www.ChargeWhatYouDeserve.com.  Tom  is an author, coach, consultant and speaker. He shares marketing and fee-setting strategies with service professionals so that they begin to charge what they deserve and enjoy the businesses that they’ve been dreaming of. Using his techniques, Tom’s clients have been able to double their fees and attract more clients than ever before.

You see, I believe getting what you want in your business has nothing to do with the money you have in the bank.  I think it has a lot to do with how you structure your fees and the prices you ask for.  You'll never be able to afford what you want, if you don't ASK for a price that will cover it.
