Scholarship Application
There can be a really difficult catch 22 with marketing. You need to do something about your marketing because you're not bringing in the cash flow that you want to bring in. At the same time, in order to get some help with your marketing, you need to pay someone with the skills and expertise to help you raise your level of success.
I've talked to a lot of potential clients over the years who just can't afford my services because of this catch 22. I do value my time and desire to get paid a commensurate amount of money for the skills, ideas and talents I bring to the table. However, I don't mind lessening my rate for one or two excellent clients who could greatly benefit from some serious trust-building in marketing work. Especially when they are willing to return the favor by shouting from the rooftops about how their marketing has positively changed because they are working with me. So, I occasionally open up 1 or 2 scholarship spots.
If you are financially strapped but REALLY want to up your marketing game, this could be a great option for you. There's a large Word Doc to fill in and an interview process to go through before I will accept you as a scholarship client, but I do take every application seriously.
A few things to note:
- Scholarship does not mean working with me for free.
- There is a reduced fee.
- I have to REALLY want to work with you too.
- You have to be a great fit for this work.
- You have to convince me that you really can't afford the usual fee.
- You will be expected to provide testimonial and/or case study feedback as well as promote my services for a minimum of three months.
- If accepted, you will get my full attention and commitment, just as any other client.
